The manual transfer sling can be used for moving a client in difficult situations where a hoist is not accessible e.g. aircraft. The situation should be carefully assessed and the sling should only be used where there is no other alternative in order to comply with Manual Handling Regulations. Handles are fitted around the perimeter for easy transfer.
