Ceiling Track Hoists

Ceiling track hoists are best left to the professionals!

If you have been redirected here from an unauthorised external link selling used ceiling track hoists, i have a word of caution!

There are many pit falls when buying hoists from individuals who do not offer a professional installation.  Firstly a professional installation company such as Movement2 provide a full assessment of your needs, we also have many years of experience in determining whether your property is structurally capable of supporting the full load of the hoist and user combined which is potentially 250kg or more.

We offer an equipment and workmanship warranty against any defect that may arise, we also offer LOLER inspections which is a requirement when somebody is employed to use your equipment, these inspections should be done on a 6 monthly basis. I would strongly advise that unless you know exactly what you are doing you should not attempt to fit a ceiling track hoist yourself.

Poor or incorrect fitting could result in serious injury or worse! If you are considering purchasing a used or new hoist please feel free to contact us on 0870 0170203 for more information, alternatively visit our ceiling track hoist pagesFor the pdf brochure of the BHM V4 hoist please click here.

Ceiling track hoists in new special needs school

Movement2 have recently completed the installation of around 200 metres of ceiling track hoist systems in the newly built Hinckley Area special needs school in Leicestershire.  The ceiling track hoists are to be used to assist with the lifting of physically disabled children from their wheelchairs to various different locations including the sensory room, soft play, swimming pool, toilets and changing area's. The ceiling track hoists use combinations of tracking including H systems, turntables and various straights and bends to move the children to and from their chairs and other surfaces.  The whole job has taken a number of months from planning and liasing with various contractors to installation and training. We hopefully should be able to post some pictures shortly so please return and check for updates.
