Portable hoists for hire

For a while now Movement2 have rented equipment to people who have short term needs i.e. holiday rental. We have now been working more with local authority clients renting the equipment for urgent cases such as hospital releases. Sometimes it can take a while for ceiling track hoists to be approved and they can be used as a short term stop gap.
Pictured on the right is the Freeway portable gantry hoist which we generally use, it is completely free standing and can be adjusted in both length and height. It can be easily dismantled and each piece weighs less than 10kg. Installation takes around 15 minutes.

Movement2 are now able to arrange training for people handlers, including OT's, carers and other healthcare professionals, training can be tailored to your specific requirements.
The sessions are either undertaken by an independent moving and handling trainer and/or by Movement2, bringing you the latest in techniques and equipment.
Training could include moving and handling techniques, sling fitting, hoisting, product training or can be adapted to your specific criteria.
