Ceiling track hoists in new special needs school
Movement2 have recently completed the installation of around 200 metres of ceiling track hoist systems in the newly built Hinckley Area special needs school in Leicestershire. The ceiling track hoists are to be used to assist with the lifting of physically disabled children from their wheelchairs to various different locations including the sensory room, soft play, swimming pool, toilets and changing area’s.
The ceiling track hoists use combinations of tracking including H systems, turntables and various straights and bends to move the children to and from their chairs and other surfaces. The whole job has taken a number of months from planning and liasing with various contractors to installation and training.
We hopefully should be able to post some pictures shortly so please return and check for updates.
